Borthwick Jewelry was founded on March 3rd, 1997 on Main Street in Ferndale, WA. Starting on a shoestring budget, Tom cashed out his 401K, borrowed $50,000 of jewelry from a friend and $50,000 from his father, and built a store around one belief:

Tom attends the Tucson, AZ gem show every year, hand-picking silver jewelry, amethyst, citrine, selenite, sapphires, rubies and more. In 2020 the store doubled in size. In 2021, Tom tripled inventory and hired two new jewelers with 40+ years of combined experience.
